342 Kms to Chinchilla

Day 5
To day we drove to Chinchilla for the Melon Festival and I counted 974 roadside cacti along the way. We stopped in Kilkivan along the way and saw a Wood turners Cottage with examples
of all the wood available in Queensland.

There was a cutting from a Forest Red Gum which was 1.6 metres in Diameter.

Saw some interesting grain silos on the way out of Kilkivan.

Mum and Dad had a steak for dinner, after one of Mums work mates said they were the best - she said they were pretty good.
